On Saturday 10th February at 02.30 Ganymede is due to transit Jupiter's disc. Being the "big one" it could be worth photographing (yes I know - it will be raining!!) Transits of Io and Europa are fairly frequent but the outer moons are less frequent so it just might be worth rising early just in case.

I think that might be 'Staying up late' rather than getting up early but no matter, as you say, it will probably be raining. jim the eternal optimist........not
