Toilets at the car park I'm led to believe.

Weather looks less than ideal now, thunderstorms and overcast after.

The jury is still out as to whether the weather will be OK.
I was out for a while earlier and although lovely and clear the moon was definitely too bright for some things. Thought I did see a faint meteor but that might just have been a trick of the light.
The moon will be even brighter on Saturday night so the best viewing will probably be after it sets around 0130 hrs
Re the weather, does anyone know the cut off time for deciding on or off?

According to Dan the final decision is with us - which means Richard as co-ordinator! Midday was mentioned.

is it on or offDefinitely one or the other 13:32 posted my weather gadget says 40% chance of precipitation tonight and shows part cloudy so it does seem rather hit or miss. When we used to do these viewing nights in Surrey we picked three dates and used the first clear one. Even then there could be three non events. However we have all experienced sudden changes in conditions especially here in Pembrokeshire. I will be checking this evening and if I think its a case of a reasonable chance then I will be leaving around 1900hrs. otherwise I will be eating my dinner rather than a warmed up meal sometime later. Anyone got a good crystal ball in working order?

Current predictions run from very poor to very good, depending on which model is used (GFS, Met Office or ECM) GFS gives cloud from 19:00 through till the early hours or longer, met office does not predict any cloud, but neither does it seem to have a cloud cover function which is odd. ECM is giving high cloud (poor) till 22:00 and clearing. The TWO interpretation of the GFS is for a clearing sky around 21:00. Clear outside also predicts a clearing situation around 21:00 clearoutside.com/forecast/51.87/-5.04On the basis that the balance seems to favour a clearing sky at around nightfall, we should be OK.

Really, there is no need for such panic stricken posts jeremy, the responsibility lies with thiose who carry it and for certain there will be measures in place to deal with any eventuality, try and keep a bit calm. All block letters like that is equivalent to shouting, not required.
