Interesting that I had no idea why people who have larger scopes would ever want a small 70mm scope...................... 'till I got one Very useful, and will be used for bird watching as I am NOT a birder and would not buy one just for that, the 72mm is a great scope Attachments:

A lot of meteorites about tonight. Saw 10 including one real fireball in about half an hour. Not sure if they were orionids as orion was only just starting to rise at the time.

I was out for a short while after dark but didn't see any and when I went out again a short time ago all I could see was the gibbous moon rising and mostly cloud cover.

Saw a few tonight again, but they seemed to come from around perseus, which is probably
nearer where they were last night, rather than from orion. Maybe just a few late perseids.
