Next meeting, Tuesday 5th March. Join us at Letterston Memorial Hall at 7pm to learn about the Evolution of stars. With luck we might also get to see some stars.

On Tuesday night despite atrocious weather we had 21 attendees who heard an illustrated, informative talk on how stars form and how to use the Hertzprung Russel diagram to gain information on that process. Given by Kim Gowney and probably (tbc) will be doing a follow up talk in April. Kim is very knowledgeable and always worth listening to
As usual the weather precluded any chance of outdoor observing so after mid session tea we put on a video of Patrick Moore and his life. It was a bit too long so had to be cut short but will be available for another time. Don't forget to have a look at Dave Lewiss pics on the forum which I think are excellent. Here's hoping for better weather for next time. Jim
