I have looked at their website and here is copy of their advertised event;
Starting at 21:00 21 April and finishing at 23:30 21 April
Astronomy can be a daunting task; after all there is a whole universe out there to explore. This session, hosted by the PCNPA in partnership with Preseli Astronomy Group and the National Trust at Stackpole, offers novices and masters alike the opportunity to learn about astronomy and observe first-hand some of our cosmic wonders.
April is an exciting month in the star calendar as not only are there excellent views of the planets Mercury and Jupiter as they come closest to Earth in their orbit, but we also have the fantastic celestial lightshow known as the Lyrids Meteor shower. The Lyrids shower is one of the oldest known meteor showers and will originate from the Lyra constellation. This shower peaks at about 20 meteors per hour and they often leave pencil-thin light trails behind that remains for a few seconds. This isn’t to be missed!
The shower can be seen from the 16th-25th April but peaks on the 21st and 22nd April. This is a truly unique opportunity to meet some astronomers, learn about the dark sky and witness a true celestial showstopper.
Experts will be on-hand to give you instruction in how to use a telescope, and by the end of the evening you’ll be able to guide yourself around some of the more easily recognisable features of the night sky.
Please note: This event is weather dependent.
There may be a car park charge if you are not a member of the National Trust.
Please bring a torch with a red light if possible so as not to disrupt the equipment.
Various night sky apps are available for download. If you have a smart phone or iPad with an app, you may wish to bring this along on the night
Refreshments are provided
