Nice clear evening, so will be getting scopes out at the hall about 9pm. Mars should be high enough to view by 11pm, with jupiter and saturn also visible. Hope someone will be interested and turn up.

Hi Rich, if I'm not too stuffed after dinner I'll try and make it. Been feeling rough all day and was awake most of the night too so will have to see how I feel.

Got a look at mars through the bushes, but a bit hazy because its so low. Also saw jupiter and saturn, but both a bit hazy as it went a bit misty in the south after dark. Once again a lone vigil.

Once again a lone vigil.Sorry I couldn't make it last night Rich. Really wasn't up to it. Must be getting old Mars was very bright from here but didn't see Jupiter or Saturn as stuff in the way.

I did not catch the post until this morning, but had similar conditions here, looked clear early on but only the planets showing by the time it got dark.

Been in Cardiff all weekend, plus, it's still knid of late till it gets dark enough too, I haven't even bothered with my own scope yet.
