NOTHING worse than cheap tripods, i have a celestron I got for £30 on ebay, used on their really cheap scopes, I used it with the PST but never liked it, image 1.
Now I wanted to mount the 72mm ED with Quark solar it was abysmal, what i needed was to attach the scope to my Gitzo, one dovetail bracket, two bolts and a head later, 10 minutes of cutting the bolts and here it is
