Had contact from the website today - "an enthusiastic 8 year old" will be joining us for the next meeting.
"I have found your contact details on line. I have a very enthusiastic 8 year old who is keen to learn about astronomy.
Would it be appropriate/ possible to bring him along to your meeting on 5th Feb?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Vivienne swann "
I have replied:
"As long as the "enthusiastic 8 year old" is accompanied by an adult that is fine.
We generally start later than advertised - tea, biscuits and chat take precedence. Weather permitting we will get outside later and see what is visible.
We often get new ones along so you will not be alone - we will look out for you."
Be aware just in case I cannot make it!!

I will be there and when you first arrive there will usually be a few in the 'tea room' so just come along and introduce yourself. Jim (chairman)
