A number of members have intimated a desire to give a talk at our meetings in 2018. Many thanks for that. If you can let me know your anticipated title, brief format and whether you need any assistance in preparation, then come our AGM in 2 weeks time we can formalise things. Some of you may wish to share in the monthly "What's Up" - again do make this known when you respond. For reference I "googled" attention span and this came up: How long is an adult's attention span? Some state that the average human attention span is approximately 8 seconds; others state that most healthy teenagers and adults are unable to sustain attention on one thing for more than about 20 minutes at a time, although they can choose repeatedly to re-focus on the same thing.
So think in terms of no more than 20-30 minutes!! In the interest of confidentiality please direct your messages to the following address: info@preseliastronomygroup.org.uk
