According to Mark Twain "There are three kinds of lies: lies, damned lies and statistics."
I was wondering how this board counts its visitors:
This was the figures around 5.30 - they seem to have crept up from around 40-50 some weeks ago to 92 here!! Users Online in the Last 24 Hours 3 Staff, 2 Members, 87 Guests.
I know that if I move from the site and then return the guest figure does not change. I am, however, often counted as staff and guest so the figure of 92 is not correct. I assume it records IP addresses -does anyone know the system? Is 87 is the accurate count?

A lot of the visits are from data gathering bots, some good some bad that will add adverts or viruses to the site, quite often when signing up to sites like this you will be asked questions like are you human of given a code to copy as bots cannot as yet deal with this.
