We see that, following a Committee Meeting of the Infrastructure, Communities, Licesing, & Major Events Committee on Monday 30th November 2020, a decision has been made to seek tenders for replacing all of Pembrokeshire's street lights with LED Types? Could we respectfully ask that during this process, due regard is paid to ensure that the street lamp standards selected are CE stamped, and conform to the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive (EMC) 2014/30/EU or the latest amendment, to ensure that they emit no interference to other equipment such as radios, TV's and cell phones, and that the selected design pays due regard to the Starry Skies Pembrokeshire Partnership recommendations, and the points raised in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority Operations review Committee Report no. 02/20, to reduce light pollution, to keep Pembrokeshire's reputation for areas of dark skies free from reflected light pollution, which attracts many tourists interested in Astronomy?

The bad news is that its a done deal, without anyone ever knowing it was under consideration, or having an opportunity for input.
