I've only just figured out how to increase the size of my images on this forum! Here's a BIG hydrogen alpha image I took yesterday, captured with my trusty old PST Ha scope, with simple afocal imaging via a smartphone.

Not as much activity showing as I expected, but certainly BIG Mark.

Yes, not much prominence activity at the moment. Lots of surface detail (filaments/plages) showing up when I look through the scope, but they don't stand out well when I try to photographed them. Fingers crossed that this cycle picks up. Here's an interesting link to a site for Hydrogen Alpha activity throughout the day, with regular updates from around the world: gong2.nso.edu/products/tableView/table.php?configFile=configs/hAlpha.cfgThe Eiffel Tower on the Sun...
