I will not be attending the March meeting, car just passed mot but has developed a water leak on a metal bypass pipe, it seems February must be a good month for leaks as we had a radiator in one of the bedrooms go and flood the house.

Sorry to hear that Phil. We had a burst water pipe in back yard. I better not mention car as no wish to push my luck.
See you at the April meet then.

Is the building actually open? No water here for 3 days, if letterston is the same it may well be closed off.

A very interesting and well illustrated talk tonight from Rob even if some of it was a touch over my head.
The universe never ceases to surprise and delight and the physicists and engineers who do all the important work are nothing short of brilliant IMHO.
The measurements involved were/are mind blowing and are one of the things that I personally love to read about so this was one of the best talks in recent years for me.
