Saturday 14th July (Bastille Day I seem to recollect) is the day this year.
I have had a letter from Babs (secretary/bookings) asking if we would like to support.
In previous years we have done a solar afternoon when dry and an indoor display when it rained.
What do we think guys?
I've added a poll - just to see how/if it works!!

Any members who wish to turn up will be welcome, with or without a scope. Some filters would come in handy too, and you never know when a photographic opportunity will turn up.

I will be there as usual but the weather will dictate whether to bring 'scopes or not. if I remember correctly we have previously set up a table with literature to hand out much as at Newgale.

The letter from Babs has a confirmation slip to be returned before 1st June.
I'll put your name and number on it Richard (for future contact). You probably know her anyway !!

Yes, I'm sure I've met her a couple of times. Have already told her that I'll be there.

If its wet on the day I will grab a spot in the hall in the morning and set up a couple of scopes from the container. If its sunny will set up round the back by the container. Have got a solar filter for 10 inch scope and could set up more if anyone has suitable filters.

I have been at clubs where they do in bad weather to encourage people to come in and see what the club is all about I have a few, Ha, white, Baader continuum
