Last night it was clear for just a couple of hours in between all this heavy rain, so we decided to slip out and try to image Comet 46/P Wirtanen which has made its way up into Taurus - in between the Pleaides and the Hyades (slightly closer to the former). This is our best effort so far - 29 x 30second exposures using a DSLR with 200mm lens and processed with Deep Sky Stacker and Photoshop. (Sorry if it seems a little odd - have had to reduce it from 114MB to under 1MB to get it to attach).

I could see the Pleiades but didn't notice the comet. Didn't get binoculars out as locked in shed
