With the total lack of sunspots of late, I decided to dig through some of my old favourites.. As soon as the spotty stuff returns I will post some current photos. Fingers crossed for that Mercury transit on November 11th.... can't wait! Come on weather behave yourself, just this once! Clear Skies Mark

Hi Mark, didn't you manage some pics of the last transit of mercury? Yes, fingers crossed here to for the 11th. Mind you as I seem to recall all the recent armistice day services it was raining.

Hi Jim, no luck with the last Mercury transit back in 2016, completely clouded out in Cardigan. This will be my first photographic Mercury transit..... hopefully I did manage to photograph both of the Venus transits in 2004 and 2012... Yes, weather might be a bit dodgy, our county seems to get more than its fair share of rain, every November! All fingers crossed....

Yes, weather might be a bit dodgy, our county seems to get more than its fair share of rain, every November! All fingers crossed.... Yes I knew it was one or the other, just couldn't remember.Doubt I'll be around for the 2032 transit or if I am probably in a wheelchair
